MAST
“WE WORK WITH WATER”
MAST was founded by Australian architect Marshall Blecher and Danish maritime designer and architect Magnus Maarbjerg with a vision to improve the relationship between the city and the sea.
We are rooted in a Scandinavian design tradition and work with all typologies and scales, from small finely crafted installations to piers and parklands to development plans for new waterfront districts. We have experience working with Harbour Authorities and municipalities across Europe and Australia and have helped many clients negotiate the unique complexities of building on and around the water.
Our combined office and workshop is situated in the boat building yards in Southern Copenhagen where we work closely with a team of boatbuilders and naval engineers to realise many of our local projects, to make and test prototypes and to gather inspiration.
